4G In The UK!

Finally, we are going to be to use 4G in the UK. EE (Everything Everywhere) will be the first company to let their customers use this new service. It will only be available on approved devices from EE, and it will only work in these cities: London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Bristol. If you have an approved phone you can start using it today! EE.co.uk

WOW! I thought you could use any 4G phone and anywhere you want! I'm not with EE anyway. Not a good start.

That is whats planned for O2 and Vodafone. EE say that they have Manchester and Liverpool later on the year. Not sure when O2 and Vodafone will be allowed to start though.

Not the best start for 4G in the UK. Only a few phones can use it. EE have to approve them!

Most of the phones that have 4G have not been released in the UK anyway. So, there are some phones to choose from. Not many though.
